I’ve done several projects in the last 2 weeks & all the ideas came from Pinterest. There was one HUGE project & then some small ones.
The big, big one was an idea for my dad’s 56th Birthday. And everyone asks, “Why 56?” Well, he was born in 1956, was turning 56, so I wanted to give him 56 presents. And those 56 presents came from literally all over the world & the United States by way of mail (and email) from his friends, family & some of his colleagues.
I got the idea from a gift that my aunts (I think it was both of my aunts) did for my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. And it was a original Pinterest link that reminded me of my grandparents’ gift from all those years ago.

It really was the coolest gift. I had more fun talking to all his friends getting the project together than he probably did reading the letters! It was a lot of fun! It took a while to put the book together, but that was fun too. I got to raid my MIL’s scrapbooking room!
