HOW PINTERESTING!
I thought that it would be cool to do a post of photos showing which projects I’ve seen on Pinterest, pinned, & actually gone back to finish them. Â The original links to each project will be highlighted too, I’m going to give credit where credit is due.
First up, a FUN Halloween craft to do with the kids.
Supplies Needed:
2 11×14 Canvases: On sale at Hobby Lobby for $7.00 for the pair
Paint: Orange, Black, & White Acrylic Paint from Walmart for $.57 each
Googly Eyes: approximately $2.00
We will probably have more hand print and foot prints from this year of Pinteresting then we will know what to do with. But who cares?! Lboy had a blast playing in the paint. I had a blast doing it with him. And it will be great to pull it out next year to see just how much he has grown!
Here’s ours:
Second, Christmas Card books! It’s really a brilliant idea!
I never know what to do with all of our Christmas cards. I hate to throw them away, but they just take up space in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. So….I found a great link that showed me just what to do with all those cards. Turn them into books! It’s so simple, yet I would have never thought of it myself.
Supplies needed (and how much it cost me:)
Single hole, hole punch: approximately $3.00
Binder rings: $1.87
Voila, Christmas card books!
(I’m also doing them with all our birthday cards, Valentine’s day cards, etc.)
Here’s mine. It’s just waiting for the Christmas Season to start so that it can be placed on our coffee table!
If you have blogged or done any “How Pinteresting” projects, I’d love to see them! Just paste the links to your post or your Pinterest board in the comment section.

I did Christmas card “binders” like that, too, and I love them. Our girls have a blast looking back through at all the pictures, too. I have on my list [ahem] to make them “binders” of the cards they’ve gotten this year for various occasions. I know they’ll love that, too. 🙂
And your canvases look fantastic! (You did an even better job than the original pin, I think!) And kudos to you for allowing LBoy to get his FOOT in paint. The mere thought scares me silly! HA!
Here’s a link to my latest project, some Halloween frames. I love them! 🙂

I’m feeling oddly on top of some holiday crafting, huh? I shouldn’t say that out loud, though…don’t wanna jinx myself for the balance of the year! 🙂

We’ve also been doing the holiday card idea with birthday cards for each kid. That way I’ll have all the years in one place. It will be fun to flip through when they are older (I hope! ha!)

It really is the coolest & simplest ideas. One of those where I was totally bummed that I hadn’t been genius enough to come up with it on my own! lol Thank goodness for Pinterest!
