Introducing Kate, from Two men, a cat & me. I gotta love her cause her name is Kate! We Kates are pretty awesome people if I must say so myself. Check out her post on her 11 things to do in 2011. Kate and I did an interview session via email for her post, so here we go….
1. What’s your favorite blog to read?
My favourite blog to read (apart from my own-yes I admit I like to re-read my own) I’d have to say is ParentingByDummies. DumbMom rocks as a writer, mother, blogger and general all rounder!
2. What’s your best blogging tip?
I’ve made mistakes in blogging but the best advice I’ve learnt, and am sharing with you, is to entice your readers to come back! Try asking questions at the end of your post for readers to answer in their comments. Then make sure you reply to their comments-afterall they gave you that courtesy.
3. Give a link to your favorite blog post you’ve ever written!
Why don’t you make up your own mind as to your favourite blog post. I really can’t decide! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing them all 🙂 (This is Kate MM, I personally like her Reflections on 2010 & Youngling-Syndrome.)
4. Why do you blog?
I started blogging to help my writing career but then I found it to be a therapeutic opportunity to literally journal my life with my family and my son! The fact that people seem to enjoy it is a huge bonus and great compliment to the trade I’m working so hard to develop-writing.
5. Tell us something you consider really important, interesting, fun, quirky, or cool, about yourself.
Hmm I’m quite a random kinda gal and the only thing I think that is a quirky trick I can do. I can still put my leg behind my head even after several knee surgeries and having a child.
6. Is there something you would like to share that I didn’t ask?
I just want to say thank you for letting me feature on your blog and I want to write to entertain and sometimes inform so please feel free to comment. If no one tells me what they want to read how can I write it? I aim to please 🙂 thanks.
