I have seen Scentsy all over the place but I have never stopped by a site to actually check out what it is. I’m glad that I was asked to do this because ladies (and gents) I have been introduced to a fabulous world!
First of all, what in the heck is a Scentsy Warmer?! Amy Sparrow, Scentsy Consultant, explained to me that it’s an electric wax warmer that uses a light bulb to make your house smell all good & yummy. She told me that she thought this was awesome because, and I quote her, “there is no flame or soot to worry about. This especially appeals to me with small children in my house.”
I got my package in the mail from Amy really really fast. She sent me a Dandy Turquoise Plug-In Scentsy Warmer with three bars of wax, in different scents. I like fruity, flowery, & baking scents the best so she sent me a 3.2 ounce bar of Go-Go-Goji which is a peachy fruity scent (I think my favorite), Lilacs & Violets & Sugar Cookie (the bars are $5.00.) She also sent me a cube of the 16 oz ($20) Candy Apple Brick (another one of my favorites!)
The assembly of the plug-in was quite simple, the wax is very soft & easy to break so I could put it on top of the warmer with no problems. I plugged it in, flipped the “on” switch, & Voila! I had a beautiful smelling living room in a matter of minutes. It was that simple!
I tried the warmer in three different rooms, the Master bath for when I soak in the jetted tub. It puts off a really nice, soft light, & it just made everything even more relaxing. I put it in the livingroom and it was awesome until Lboy discovered this “new toy” in the wall. So I had to keep it up high (food for thought!) And when Lboy went to bed that night, I put it in the hallway near his bedroom so that it could double as a night light & a smell good thingy!
I also got the stamp of approval from Todd who hates girly things, so it must be good right?!
Here is my only caution: The glass can get very hot and so does the wax once it’s melted. So even though there is no flame, I wouldn’t leave it within reach of your little ones. Like I said before, Lboy thought it was a toy so he went after it as soon as I plugged it into the wall. I would have been really upset if he had been burned, so I kept it up high! Make sure you treat it with the same caution you do your candles.

I have a Scentsy warmer and I love it! I can't have candles in my house mainly because my husband is obsessed with fire. I don't have any of the wall plug ins, but I love my big warmer.

and i know the individual entries are a pain but so much easier mathwise! 🙂

Well my goodness! I love Scentsy and my favorite warmer is the faith one! I have a red one, but it isn't in the catalog anymore! And I like way too many of the scents to even begin to start!

You can count me out of the giveaway (does this mess up your math?), I just wanted to say that the flameless candle is a great invention. I'm switching over to battery powered candles. I was never allowed to have real ones because my husband is afraid I'll burn the house down. Now I can flicker away and they smell good too!

You are correct. Just cold enuogh to get snow and bring on the BWOs (and to make you feel all manly), but it’s rare that the line will actually freeze in the guides. What’s odd is the utter lack of good winter midge hatches on the Upper Sacramento.
